Container terminals Bremerhaven
The longest container quay on the entire continent is located in Bremerhaven. That means plenty of space for large container ships – and right on the North Sea. All this makes us one of the most modern and efficient hubs for international container traffic.
We operate three terminals here in Bremerhaven: EUROGATE Container Terminal Bremerhaven for all shipping companies, North Sea Terminal Bremerhaven for Maersk Line and MSC Gate Bremerhaven for ships of the shipping line MSC.
The common-user terminal is ideally connected to the German hinterland via the road and rail network – making it the perfect hub for shipments to Europe’s most important economic centers. EUROGATE Container Terminal Bremerhaven is popular with large car and container transports because it enables direct connections to Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.

This is a joint venture between EUROGATE on the one hand and TIL Terminal Investment on the other. TIL is a holding company of the Mediterranean Shipping Company – MSC for short.

The common-user terminal in Wilhelmshaven is Germany’s only deep-water container terminal with an 18-meter-deep shipping channel and the world’s largest container gantry cranes. Thanks to the direct connection to the A29 and the intermodal railroad station, the distances to the European hinterland are short.
