A visit to our Austrian neighbours: EUROGATE in Graz and Vienna

EUROGATE Container Terminal Bremerhaven (CTB) and Container Freight Station (CFS) again participated in the “logistics talks” series this year with presentations in Graz and Vienna on 11 October. In a relaxed and informal atmosphere, the “logistics talks” informed customers and business partners about Bremen’s ports. Initiator of the talks is the bremenports port company, in cooperation with EUROGATE. The event above all targets representatives from the shipping lines, agents and forwarders, rail operators as well as importers and exporters.

    Logistics talks

Nina Distler introduced herself as new Operations Manager of CFS. She combines the areas of wind energy and CFS and is on hand to support customers with her extensive know-how. Assisted by Michael Albers, Head of Administration, she presented CFS’s range of services and also addressed possibilities for increasing and intensifying the handling of break bulk cargo on container ships via Bremerhaven.

Manuela Drews, Managing Director of EUROGATE Container Terminal Bremerhaven, informed about the intensive work going on to optimise productivity, integrate newly appointed staff and modernise the terminal software, all of which would further strengthen Bremerhaven’s position as the seaport for Austria in the future.
